Hailing from North Charleston, SC, Catherine Smith is the CEO and Founder of Peak Performance Consulting and Media Management, LLC. With over 12 years of classical vocal performance training and a former Miss America Opportunity competitor since 2013, Catherine has always had a passion for the stage. A current advocate for suicide prevention and awareness, Catherine has served in a multitude of capacities such as a legislative liaison speaking before South Carolina’s State Assembly, a Young Adult Presenter for the National Alliance on Mental Illness’s “Ending the Silence” Program, Policy Advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and a member of the 988 Coalition.
A former Juris Doctor Candidate of Charleston School of Law and current graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Legal Emphasis) and Paralegal Certificate, Catherine thrives in the world of academia as both a published academic and gun violence education connoisseur.
